Terms of Use

These terms govern your access to and use of PowerAtlas websites, applications, and related services. By using PowerAtlas, you agree to these terms.

1. About these terms

“PowerAtlas,” “we,” and “us” refer to EKIE Technologies LLC, which operates the PowerAtlas service. These terms apply to individual users and organizations that access the service, except where a separately signed agreement governs the same subject. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. The Acceptable Use Policy is part of these terms.

If you use PowerAtlas for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization. The organization is responsible for its users and workspace configuration.

2. Accounts and access

Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and promptly tell us if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account, subject to applicable law. Do not share credentials or bypass access controls.

Organization administrators may invite or remove users, assign roles, manage workspace settings, and access information made available by the organization’s plan and configuration. You should not place personal or confidential material in a managed workspace unless you are authorized to do so.

3. Using PowerAtlas and AI outputs

PowerAtlas provides software tools for technical research, document workflows, calculations, and collaboration. AI-generated answers, extracted text, citations, and calculations can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Sources may be unavailable, citations may not support every statement, and calculations depend on the inputs, assumptions, units, and rules selected.

PowerAtlas is not an authority having jurisdiction, code official, licensed design professional, manufacturer, or substitute for professional judgment. Outputs are informational aids, not approval, certification, inspection, engineering design, or a guarantee of code compliance. You must independently verify applicable codes, amendments, source documents, calculations, equipment requirements, and site conditions with qualified professionals before relying on an output—especially for electrical, mechanical, life-safety, construction, or other safety-critical work.

Do not use PowerAtlas as an emergency response service, safety interlock, or direct controller for equipment. You are responsible for decisions and actions taken based on content generated by or entered into the service.

4. Your content

You retain rights you hold in prompts, files, and other content you submit. You grant PowerAtlas permission to host, reproduce, transmit, analyze, and otherwise process that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and provide the features you or your organization request, subject to applicable agreements and the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to submit content. Do not upload material that violates another person’s rights, confidentiality obligations, or licensing restrictions. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before using, sharing, or publishing them.

PowerAtlas and its licensors retain rights in the service, software, interfaces, and branding. These terms do not transfer ownership of those materials to you.

5. Plans, payments, and cancellation

Some features require a paid plan. Prices, included features, billing periods, and applicable taxes are presented at purchase or in your account. Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers under their terms. Subscription renewal, cancellation, refunds, and access after cancellation are governed by the plan terms shown to you and applicable law.

You can manage eligible subscriptions through the account controls provided in the service. If you cannot access those controls, contact support@poweratlas.ai.

6. Prohibited conduct

You may not use PowerAtlas unlawfully; infringe another person’s intellectual property or privacy; submit content you are not authorized to use; interfere with the service or its security; probe or access accounts or systems without authorization; evade usage limits or access controls; distribute malware or spam; or use the service to create a material safety risk. See the Acceptable Use Policy for additional rules.

7. Third-party services and availability

Some features rely on third-party providers or link to third-party services. Their terms and privacy practices apply to your use of those services. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content or availability.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain or improve the service, address security or legal requirements, or respond to circumstances outside our control. We will provide notice when required by law or an applicable agreement.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using PowerAtlas and may request account deletion through available account controls. We may suspend or restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, respond to a security incident, comply with law, collect overdue fees, or address a material breach of these terms. Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue.

9. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, PowerAtlas is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not warrant that outputs will be accurate, complete, suitable for a particular project, or uninterrupted. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PowerAtlas will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive losses arising from use of the service. Any limitation in these terms applies only to the extent allowed by applicable law and does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service or legal requirements change. Updated terms will be posted here with a revised date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide notice where required. Continued use after an effective change means you accept the revised terms to the extent allowed by law.

Questions about these terms may be sent to support@poweratlas.ai. Any governing law, venue, or dispute-resolution terms in a separate signed agreement take precedence where applicable.
